The Wei Wai Kum Business Group (WBG) is dedicated to promoting long-term prosperity for the Wei Wai Kum First Nation, grounded in its cultural identity, opportunities, and collaborative partnerships, with a focus on supporting future generations. The Business Group is committed to advancing the interests of the Wei Wai Kum community through respectful stewardship of traditional lands and territories, fostering reconciliation, and enhancing overall community well-being.

The Wei Wai Kum Business Group is dedicated to positioning Wei Wai Kum First Nation in a leadership role that guides activities that take place within the Nation’s territory. In this leadership role, WBG is committed to building a resilient, diverse, and regenerative economy that honours the distinctive identity of the Wei Wai Kum people. Following the guiding principles of Mayaxala (respect) and Noqigila (wisdom and knowledge), WBG strives to cultivate an environment in which members can prosper for generations to come. Efforts are focused on expanding opportunities, developing robust and mutually beneficial partnerships, and promoting long-term financial stability and independence for the Nation.
